Note:
- Never wear make-up on the day of your treatment.
- Results & the response to treatment varies from person to person.
- The effects of a Carboxytherapy treatment are cumulative with every subsequent treatment improving the results of the previous one.
- It can be used as a one-off treatment. Usually a course of 4-8 treatments every 7-14 days intervals are recommended with maintenance treatments every: 3 - 4 weeks: age 50+ | 4 - 6 weeks: age 40+ | 6 - 8 weeks: age 20 - 40 to maintain results.
- Results & the response to treatment varies from person to person.- Reaction from treatment include: skin redness & flushing, tightness, itching, tenderness, dryness, stinging, swelling & some pinpoint bleeding.
- The treatment involves no downtime.
- It is great for all skin types, but those with eczema/broken skin/ active acne should avoid it.
- During the treatment, you will experience slight stinging when mask applied which is a normal reaction to the product.
Post treatment advice:
- Avoid wearing makeup & touching the skin for 24 hours.
- Refrain from extreme temperatures such as intensive sun light, saunas, sunbed, steam bath for 24 hours after treatment.
- Apply a sunscreen with an SPF30+ on a daily basis.
- Avoid electrolysis, waxing, bleaching, depilatory creams, laser hair removal & exfoliating products for at least 72 hours.
- Do not swim in chlorinated water for approximately 48 hours.
- Reaction from treatment include: skin redness, flushing & tightness.
- Effects will typically resolve within 24 -48 hours.
- Please report any concerns to your therapist as soon as possible or seek medical attention.
